Itinerary
Day 1 – TANZANIA
DAR ES SALAAM INTL’ AIRPORT - KARATU TOWN / NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA.
Arrive at Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR) in Dar es Salaam on Turkish Airways. Clear customs and immigration. Move to Terminal 2 for your connecting flight to Arusha Airport (ARK). Ensure you have enough time for check-in and security procedures. Depart from Dar es Salaam at 0715hrs on your flight to Arusha which arrives at 0905hrs. Arrive at Arusha Airport. Meet your professional driver-guide who will assist you with your luggage and provide a brief overview of your safari itinerary. Depart for Ngorongoro Crater (approximately a 3–4-hour drive from Arusha). Enjoy the scenic drive through the beautiful landscapes of Tanzania. Arrive at Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy a half-day crater tour, descending into the caldera to explore its unique ecosystem and diverse wildlife. Look out for the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros) as well as other animals like zebras, wildebeests, and various bird species. Ascend from the crater and begin your drive to Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge (approximately a 1-hour drive).
NGORONGORO CRATER TANZANIA
The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, renowned for its high density of wildlife, including the Big Five, and is a haven for endangered species like the black rhino. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken, unflooded volcanic caldera on Earth, formed when a massive volcano collapsed inward. The crater is a vital habitat for endangered species, including the black rhino, and supports a diverse range of wildlife. The Ngorongoro Crater is part of the Serengeti ecosystem, one of the last intact ecosystems in the world, which harbours large and spectacular animal migrations.
Day 2 – TANZANIA
KARATU - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
Enjoy an early breakfast at your lodge. Begin your drive towards Serengeti National Park. As you travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoy en-route game drives. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, and various antelope species, as well as the stunning landscapes of the area. continue your journey towards Serengeti National Park. The distance is approximately 150 kilometres, taking about 3 to 4 hours depending on wildlife sightings and road conditions. Enjoy a thrilling half-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. Your guide will provide valuable insights into the park’s ecosystem and its inhabitants. Stop at a designated picnic site within the park for a delicious picnic lunch. SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Serengeti National Park is renowned for the Great Migration, a spectacular annual wildlife event where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles traverse the plains in search of food and water, along with its diverse wildlife, including the Big Five, and stunning landscapes. Serengeti National Park is a World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife: over 2 million ungulates, 4000 lions, 1000 leopard, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species inhabit an area close to 15,000 square kilometres in size.
DAY 3 & 4-TANZANIA

Enjoy an early breakfast at your lodge or camp, depart for a full day of game driving in Serengeti National Park. Embark on your full day game drive, exploring various regions of the park. Look out for the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinoceros —as well as other wildlife such as zebras, wildebeests, and an array of bird species. Your guide will share insights about the wildlife and their habitats. Delight in a delicious dinner at your lodge, sharing stories of the day’s adventures with fellow travellers. DAY 5 - KENYA
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK - MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE.
Enjoy an early breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti National Park and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. Take advantage of the opportunity for a morning game drive as you exit Serengeti National Park. Keep an eye out for any last-minute wildlife sightings and capture the stunning landscapes of the Serengeti. Continue your drive towards the Isebania border. The distance is approximately 90 kilometres, taking around 2 hours, depending on road conditions. Arrive at the Isebania border for the necessary immigration and customs procedures. Your guide will assist you in navigating the process to ensure a smooth transition between Tanzania and Kenya. After lunch, proceed to Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive will take approximately 2 hours, allowing you to soak in the beautiful Kenyan landscapes. Arrive at Masai Mara National Reserve. Take a moment to settle into your accommodation and freshen up. Embark on an evening game drive in Masai Mara. Experience the vibrant wildlife and stunning scenery as you explore the reserve, with the chance to see the iconic animals that call this region home. MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Maasai Mara, also sometimes spelt Masai Mara and locally known simply as The Mara, is a large national game reserve in Narok County, Kenya, contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It is named in honour of the Maasai people, the ancestral inhabitants of the area, who migrated to the area from the Nile Basin. Their description of the area when looked at from afar: "Mara" means "spotted" in the local Maasai language, because of the short bushy trees which dot the landscape.
DAY 6 & 7 – KENYA

Maasai Mara is one of the wildlife conservation and wilderness areas in Africa, with its populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs and African bush elephants. It also hosts the Great Migration, which secured it as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, and as one of the ten Wonders of the World. The Great Migration normally happens from July depending on weather as the wildebeest moves in large numbers crossing the Mara River from Tanzania. The Greater Mara ecosystem encompasses areas known as the Maasai Mara National Reserve, the Mara Triangle, several Maasai group ranches, and Maasai Mara conservancies.
DAY 8 – KENYA
MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE - JOMOKENYATTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
Wake up early for a final morning game drive in the Masai Mara. Enjoy the sunrise and the chance to see wildlife before your departure. Return to Governors Camp for breakfast. Take some time to relax and pack your belongings. Check out of the camp and prepare for your transfer to the airstrip. Depart for the Masai Mara airstrip. The drive typically takes about 30 minutes, depending on wildlife sightings along the way. Arrival at Wilson Airport. Clear customs and immigration. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your onward flight. This transfer usually takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic
